Expert engineering support for selecting a method for fixing jaw fractures.
Problem: In cases of atypical or complex jaw fractures, surgeons often have limited time and tools to accurately select an osteosynthesis scheme. The lack of an engineering assessment leads to a “by eye” selection, which can reduce the stability of the fixation, complicate bone healing, and increase the risk of complications.
Solution: A service that provides: - personalized selection of osteosynthesis schemes for jaw fractures based on the patient's CT/CBCT, - biomechanical modeling and calculation of the effectiveness of various fixation options, - engineering justification: plate type, number of screws, location.
