The core idea of PATHBOOKING is to digitize and democratize access to highly professional histopathology diagnosis. The project solves the problem of high subjectivity and the risk of diagnostic errors in complex medical cases, especially in oncology, by creating a unified platform for obtaining a "second opinion" from leading Ukrainian and foreign specialists. We operate analogously to travel booking services, providing access to experts rather than to physical laboratories.

The product is a comprehensive consultative diagnostic service, implemented through a cross-platform web platform (and a mobile application in the future).

Key product components include:
Ensuring high-quality scanning of histological slides using our own histoscanner ($20 000 USD).
AI-Matching: Utilizing Artificial Intelligence elements for the preliminary assessment of case complexity and automatically selecting the most qualified pathologist-consultant.
Providing the user with the ability to quickly and securely book a consultation (second opinion) with a chosen international or national specialist.

Our product is intended for patients (especially those with oncological diseases) who wish to eliminate doubts in their diagnosis, obtain confirmation or correction of treatment, and also for highly anxious patients. The “Pathobooking” platform can also be beneficial for treating physicians (oncologists, surgeons, therapists) who encounter complex or ambiguous diagnoses and require fast, authoritative expert support.

The value of the product / problem resolution lies in the fact that “PATHBOOKING” allows the consumer-patient (or physician) to reduce the risk of diagnostic error. This is ensured by obtaining a highly professional "second opinion," which is critical for establishing the correct treatment protocol.

Additionally, the long and complex process of searching for and managing sample logistics for foreign consultations is eliminated, saving time and effort.

Through the use of the consultative diagnostic platform, interaction between patients and physicians is improved. Physicians gain access to a single reliable medical history and a transparent path for resolving the diagnostic problem. The platform provides not only a diagnosis but also recommendations from world-class experts.

“PATHBOOKING” uses a "Booking-Commission" (Commission-Based) model, which involves paid access for patients or clinics—payment for the consultation service is made through the platform. The startup also retains a commission fee (15-20%) from the total consultation cost for providing the technological platform, AI-matching, logistics, and data security.

Additional services will also be offered, such as payment for sample digitization (for clients without their own scanner) and possible premium subscriptions for clinics seeking expanded functionality. The starting market is estimated at $50 000 USD per year with scaling potential.
